At the age of sixteen, while still in high school, Vincent Monluc went to evening classes everyday to draw life model in the Beaux-Arts of Marseille. At the age of twenty, he started to paint and sell his watercolors during the summer holidays in the south of France to pay for his studies at the University.
After being graduated in Arts Plastiques at the University of Bordeaux III – France, he passed the Teaching Certification competitive exam (CAPES). He became an Art Professor and taught in a high school at Le Havre in Normandie. While he was teaching, he passed a competitive exam and attended Ecole Nationale Supérieure Des Arts Décoratifs of Paris, cinema department, and started to make personal animated cartoon movies. Some of his movies received awards in different movie festivals.
He then left teaching and pursued a career in the Animation industry, working for different companies as director, animator, storyboard artist, layout artist, and studio general manager. In his watercolors, Vincent utilizes all of the skills learned from his extensive experience in the art world. His delightful storytelling is charmingly depicted in his Bocce series.
