Art is long… if you are sure that this is the finality of all your endeavors pursue it to the end. Splash in it, roll in it… but do it.
Pepsi was born and raised in the heart of Manhattan and spent her childhood at the various art venues available to very few on a regular basis i.e. the finest art collections in the world, The Metropolitan, Moma, Guggenheim, etc. As a child in kindergarten her drawing was picked to represent New York among the other states in a show in Washington, D.C. She has been drawing since she can remember and finding new avenues for her expression, i.e. collage, mixed media, oil, acrylic, watercolor. Pepsi has given workshops both on Long Island and has conducted both private and public tutoring here in Florida.
Color is the vibrancy and ticket that she uses to express her work. Her mentor, Edgar Whitney, was the springboard to design. He only taught Design Principles and ergo that was the foundation Pepsi needed to construct her paintings. Her mentors are all those people, who along the way, contributed both their knowledge and talent to her education. The visual experience of an artist permits the viewer to enter into the mind of the creator i.e. artist. It is an exciting adventure.
