One man’s solution to COVID Quarantine boredom was to go online and watch You Tube videos about “dot painting” which he taught himself to do though never having pursued an art form before. Result is below which he entitled “Peacock Mandala.” Using an old record to paint it on provided the shape and an art/recycle project in one.

Sarasota County Employee was on the team that facilitated Baltimore Orioles bringing training facilities to Sarasota. Team officials were so pleased with her assistance, they wanted to gift her. She explained that as a Sarasota employee she could not accept a monetary gift
So they recognizes her efforts by having her pitch the first ball on their first game in Sarasota. She relayed that she had practiced with her son in the backyard so she would not just drop the ball. (Note: Frame selected because it was the color of a baseball bat.)
Recipes of a favorite aunt who was known by her family to be a Great Baker passed away. We were asked to create 3 of these for the kitchen walls of her three nieces (In different frames and colors). Each one had a piece of her well worn silver, a favorite recipe written by her (pound cake here) and frame to match each recipient’s kitchen decor.
Bruges Belgium known for it’s lace making shops. This customer wanted to frame her memories of the quaint shops. Included in her
Shadow box was a photo of her favorite lace shop, a lace making bobbin and a small handmade souvenir of vintage lace.
A young man’s most vivid memory of his grandfather was him striking the historic strike-anywhere blue tip matches on his belt buckle. Customer provided both and Voila!
