Heather retired from the full time practice of internal medicine in 2018 to pursue her previous avocation as a full-time career in visual art, predominantly watercolor.
“My goal is to produce and share creations of beauty or provocation that encourage reflection.”
Art Education includes numerous classes in painting and drawing at the Venice Art Center, weekly studio classes with the late Herbie Rose, founding father of Bradenton’s Village of the Arts and workshops with nationally-known watercolor instructors Janet Rogers and Pat Weaver.
Multiple Honors and Awards in juried shows sponsored by Venice Art Center, Florida Watercolor Society, Paint Out in Paradise, Venice Plein Aire Competition.
She has donated many volunteer hours as a Board of Director for the Venice Art Center (1999-2005)
